Sony Ericsson Satio – “photo-monster” phone

Sony Ericsson presents a new “photo-monster” mobile phone. It’s called Satio. As it was said the phone impresses with a huge kinds of functionalities in photography mode. Let’s look through it.

The Satio has 12.1 megapixel camera. It will be enough but this is not all what the phone has. Photos quality is powered by smart xenon flash and 12x digital zoom. Consumers can easily make high quality photos using Smart Contrast, Photo fix, Smile Shutter technology, BestPic, Geo-tagging and red-eye reduction programs. Also Satio has face detection and touch focus.

But Sony Ericsson didn’t stop. The video mode on the Satio can surprise too. Consumers can capture high quality video files at 30 fps.

The Satio works on Symbian S60. Connection with the world is provided by A-GPS and Wi-Fi. The mobile phone delivers with 8 GB memory card and can be upgraded up to 16 GB via microSD. The internal memory is 128 MB.

The price of the Satio is not officially announced. The mobile phone is expected to hit the market in the end of this year.
